Very good quality, but color filters are way too dark in some parts.
Frags were mostly good and entertaining.
The wallhack effect broke the surprise of every wallshot, that was sad
intro was good with the title coming back at the end of the movie.
In the musics and effects, this movie isn't very original, but it's at the same time really different from the other movies, with a lot of effects etc.
Quality is awesome !

made wrong post at first but can write something here anyway ;) i feel surpriced RatQuiRit thought it was lots of effects :D i think it was few ^^ but maybe used to watch different types of movies :) dont realy know about the dark parts, i wrote a priv msg about the codec shit i added in the information ^^ but to be sure noone miss it i can add it here to ;) because i dont believe its to dark in any case at my computer ;) ofcourse its dark, but not black or to dark, i like it this way :), looks more realistic and nicer than all other overbrighted cs movies :P

Therefor, the best cs movie I saw, only saw like 5 ones though. Good job anyway.

It was too dark for me even with the big codec pack, but that may just be my fault, an enjoyable flick with some nice sprees, quality was perfect, I'm not sure how much further you can actually go with cs qualitywise. Wallhack effect was cool as well, but maybe just bordering on overuse. Music was maybe an odd choice but worked fine and that may just be down to my dislike of nickelback and co.
Overall tis a good vid ^_^

Quality is amazing, frags are nice as is the editing but the music was boring. Overall a great movie very good job.

I thought there wasn't that much editing which is pretty sad since the contest is an editing contest :| The only edited parts were the intro and the outro, while the rest was basically frags with music on background which, to be perfectly honest, disapointed me. I'm not beeing harsh for the pleasure don't get me wrong, just stating my feelings. Other than that i must say the qual was just perfect, a bit too dark like others people said (even with the codecs pack installed) but still very nice too watch. Can't really comment on the frags (cs bleh) but they looked good i think. The thing is, i only wish they were more edited with cams and stuffs like that.

Define editing :P (editing is every all from the beginning, from removing everything in game you don’t like, example hud. How you capture it and all the way thru to the rendering) don’t know how much you know about moviemaking, but it's so much more than just having picture-in-picture etc. In Video Vegas I adjusted 6 ‘Video Event FX’ groups on every clip, that in them selves have like 4 parameters, there is so much more beneath the surface than what you think you really see ^^

Hum i got your point but removing an hud and a radar isn't really editing for me. When i hear "editing" i think more about specific camera paths, sync, clever effects and thing like that that the moviemaker use in order to give a mood to his creation and make the footage fits with the music as much as possible. If you pay attention while watching the best movies out there, you'll notice that it's very hard to imagine its footage with another music on background, which is the proof that the author worked on this a lot and that is what i call editing. Do not take this example as gold tho because it cannot be the case everytime someone creates a vid, my intention is only to give you a better overview of the way i see things.
Changing the look of the footage can be considered as editing too and that's what you did that is true, by adjusting the colors cause as far as i remember they didn't look "vanilla" (ie unchanged). But adjusting brightness & contrast is more of an image quality worry than anything else imho.

Haven't seen the movie, yet, but I can tell you that I've hear a couple of songs, the hoobastank and nickleback in several movies.
And you don't have to judge ppl when they rate your movie. You don't have to question their rating and judgement. It's only for the best :)
Removing the huds and all those things, they're not editing. They're just something to get a better video. I can't think of any way to explain what editing is in CS. In real movies it's adjusting the video and adding the right camera angles and all that, but CS is not about 3rd person, it's about 1st person mostly. Well... I could say it's more like moving the videos, cutting them, speeding them, putting slowmotion and all that.

i am trying to make xvid version, but VirtualDub refusees to follow the restrictions i give it, ether give to poor quality och too big size
recluse, in fact removieng huds is just what editing is :P editing is all about how you prepare, how you give shape to the movie, how you collect and compile the whole movie. the look you make for it.
edit, this it not what i personaly think is editing, this is some synonyms etc for editing, so it doesn't mather what you think because thats what it is, by the book

personally I would say the editing is just the stuff that happens after you open vegas/premiere, the stuff you do to the footage before that is just capture

Nothing new. Old effects that have been used thousand of times in a lot of CS movies.
Compared to the top CS movies out there, the frags are worthless.
The high resolution (big image, small text) makes the text at the top right too small in proportion to the whole scene. Otherwise, the video quality is very good.
The music isn't always suited for a frag movie. It's not only the rhythm, the lyrics are also very important, which is something this movie doesn't take into consideration.
As far as editing goes, the "low FPS" effect is completely unnecessary. Other then that, the movie is nothing more then frags combined with music. Too me, effects are supposed to strengthen the meaning of a video, not degrade it.

Guess you haven’t seen many CS-movies at all, because it very much above average frags compared with all movies I have seen and I download 2-3 CS-movies every weak.

Don’t know how much CS-movies you watch but this music category is used in more than 90% of all CS-movies, it’s very different from q3 and so on. And someone’s taste of music doesn’t really qualify to say that to music doesn’t fit the movie when I know that the biggest part of the scene doesn’t agree with that.

The effect you think is low fps is called "motion blur" and it's common used to. And if you had read my readme you would have known that I didn't do this movie for the effects, I did it for the frags. Don’t see how you can say the pic-in-pic and WH effects I use can make it worse, but maybe its just you taste as everything you wrote seams to be established on.

damn, I never watch any CS movies but you really kick ass :)
But it's a bit too dark imo.
EDIT:
n00b question: imagine you're at a big cup with your clan (LAN) and you die in a match. Afaik you can't watch/spec anyone anymore. But are you still able to talk to your mates ? I mean, from the technic side you are. But is it allowed to tell you mate right after you've died where the enemy is camping?

it's "motion blur" that is used these situations, press ctrl + shift + b in video Vegas and a new track appears, right click and add “envelop” / “motion blur”

for example in CPL, you have fade to black when you die, meaning your screen fades to black and you are allowed to communicate with your teammates as long as it hasn't turned to black, so you need to be quick :D
