cams were excellent, yet they highlighted average content half the time which was kinda an anti-climax.
2 little cfg issues (triangles, 1s after death) and the advertising was funny at first, cause thats what advertisers plan on doing in games in the future,... then got anoying.
very solid movie with some great parts (cams, credits, few transitions)
nice job, Download if your like me and going through q3 vid withdrawl :D

I've been waiting for this movie since fucked up premier at ESWC Poland this month :> Ooooooooookey. Let's write some comment now :D
Creativity: some fresh looking ideas.
Editing: some nice recams but some of them where at least unnecessary, it was hard to say what was going on on the sreen, same with replays of frags, some nice effects building climat of the movie, about Logitech logos etc. just like fei wrote, i understand promoting clan sponsor but you can't cross that line where this promoting get's annoyin what unfortunately can ruin whole movie effect :/
Other thing which I always pinpoint is config. Why not one config (same enemy and Lopez model) ? And at 6:30 cg_chatbeep "1" ? ;)
And the last thing. It looks like the graphic card configuration during recording frags from the demos wasn't set at max quality (AA and AF). That's a must do if you want to achive best graphic.
Content: just what i'v said to you Lopez, some nice shots but some frags where unnecessary fillers frags but what for ? Just to be sure that movie won't be to short ? sometimes it's better to make shorter movie without frags lowering the quality of the content. (Btw. If this movie would be shorter all this promoting stuff would definitely pushed Lopez frags to the background...)
Music: well choosen to the climat and editing style, liked it.
Overall: Good movie but with many mistakes which lowered overall rating of this movie.
P.S. I've tried to wrote constructive comment and it's only my personal opinion :)

you see... you like movie where are the maximum frags I love movies with maximum effects and cameras :)
adveristment was requirement and we have nothing to say about.
Almost every action was recorded on AA and AF set on max (read AA: x6 AF: x16). You are right a fev action was without it but I don't think they are a big part of movie. ;]
I know that it's your opinion but I just don't share it ;]

Btw. I forgot to wrote that I'm always pointing out almost every-even-the-smallest-thing so don't be surprised that I wrote about chatbeep and some frags without AA and AF ;)
About "maximum frags" etc. Don't you think that "maximum effects and cameras movie" can have (only) maximum frags in it ? ;)

Well I like the movie so much, I think it is one of the best movies ever, I saw no mistakes and the advertising did not bother me...

So, it's quiet good vid.
Editing is excelent, quallity is impressive, content could be better but there are frags only by one Logitech member ;] so it's quiet hard to collect some really pwn demos.
At the begining its a bit boring but after few minutes it's getting better and better, the credits are one of the best part of this movie - haven't seen better idea fot them - really pwnz.
Music it's not my climate but I like old matrix soundtrack :D
overall - it's hard to judge, but i think 8 or even 9 would be good for this one. |

Watched it. Will watch it a second time now and tell you what I think about the things. NO, I DON'T CARE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW MY OPINION :P
In the first few seconds, why was there the same sound effect as in the Unity Trailer? Where did ye get that from?
The intro had good music and sync.
In the first two scenes: Good that the ingame sound starts when the music starts after the intro, good slomo when the music becomes low level again. Everything seems a bit chopp though.
I laughed a bit, but why show a scene with a rocket that hits the ground for no reason except commercials? Was that required or couldn't you have the advertising be in the background like on the flags and so like usual. The motion blur gave a weird feeling, could see the frame edges. The frags and the music make it very good together though. The music for the whole movie was well chosen. The matrix soundtrack... well, please please don't use it anymore, but at least you edited it better than others who used it. Good that it was cut to a short version.
The depth of field effect was original, like a real camera, nice idea.
Oh yeah, flying along the railshot with the camera rocks hard. The song there is fitting and has a nice evil theme. Very cool sound effects on these grenades or rockets, camera runs.
All over, the music and the new ideas in editing made it very enjoyable, the advertising made it worse again, but (nasty I say it that way, sorry) I will keep it :)

Hello guys,
I will begin with the good side of this movie :
The video making skill is really impressive, good synchronization with music.
I really think that, that movie can compete with the best last ones like Get Quake, ...
But in the other side (the dark one):
The commercials, O M G, its simplely blasphemy.
As if quake 3 videos where a place to put your Ads,
As if quakers (who will see that video) were an important source of market.
Men, you sold your souls :(.
Instead of encrust their logo in every place where its possible :/.
Why you just didnt put an Ad at the begin of the movie during 10 - 15 seconds saying
"blablabla powered by o// Logitech \\o" ?
For me your skills are sadly used like Darkvador :)).
Btw all that "dark side", nice editing as i already said. |

To be honnest the movie has some great qualities, but some points ruined it to me.
You master the technical part of making a movie, you can use effects in a nice way, the recams are nice to watch and quality is good.
But the bad points:
-content is quite poor, ok it is from a single player, but like said in a previous coment, make a shorter movie instead of using fillers
-there is no need to show the same frag three times in slow motion, it really breaks the flow (it is the main down point of the movie)
-the ads: it is fun to see q3dm6 a little customized, but some frags are only here to show the ads, and have nothing to do in the movie (especially the rocket that hits the floor on dm17: ugly).
To sum up: with better frags, no ads, and all the frags shown only once, it would have been a great movie. And that points are not the hardest to correct, so think about it for your next movie.
Alcohol is the answer, but I can't remember the question!

The basic ideas of our job was a little upgreade maps of q3 to get an advertisement effect. Whan i see still the same q3movies..... I say: god damn it... I have to change it, i have to add some upgreads....... without it this movie would be as normal and monotonous as the other movies and I'm bored normality.... the advertisement was necessarily, becouse the logitech hire us to create this movie and the Lopez team is named the Logitech too....
P.S. It`s really hard to create a movie with all great frags if we have demos from only one person...

Nice movie and good content imo eventhough it comes from a single player. My favorite part is the third one (credits included), really liked everything here: the cams, the frags, the music, the sync etc good job on this :> Well other than that I agree with everybody and especially with fkz about the ads thingy, that was just annoying and I'm sure that a logo or a small clip at the beginning/end of the video would have worked much better. Good luck on your next movie, looking forward to it.
