| Really nice CTF movie. The only thing i don't like really is that it's 29 minutes long. It's 29 minutes of enjoyement if you like/play CTF but for me it got A LITTLE boring at half. Never then less, a great CTF movie.
A must download for any CTF freak.

pretty ok vid, not very original or ground breaking, but it was decent. good size/time ratio with decent compression. i thought the video was way too long and one of the songs could have been done without. not all of the shots were something special, some were just like 2 rails.. it was an ok vid i guess.

i was working with very few demos, a majority of which came directly from matches and scrims. the vid was also very short with only a few meh shots, as opposed to a 30 minute vid with many sub par shots. and cmon, ya gotta put dex in there.. even if he is reed -1 scarfino :)

Awesome intro with very nice editing. The vid appears to emphasise more on the intensity of the game rather than "above par" frags or whatever pink was talking about. |

mrpinkk, Every video cannot be OMFG THATS INSANE Shots... cause the standard would be raising every week and yesterday's frags would be belowpar frags.. even though yesterday they were considered omfg shots.

The video maker tried to incoporate all the players from wh2, and well some of the players weren't that great ;)
ctfx2 by vagus was much better than wh2, I didn't like this video very much. |

It is, vagus is qiute talented. I liked the way the songs flowed with the action in the game. I would guess this was his work after seeing his ctfx2 vid - quite original.

55o megs for that vid. I don't think it is worth a 550megs DL. I don't play ctf so I admit that I have never really enjoyed any ctf vid (maybe Sean's next vid will change my mind?). It was really long, and when a vid is so long, you must put great content to keep people from getting bored. I really think you should have removed at least half of the frags, that were not very impressive. The vid would have been shorter (15mins is already quite long for a vid) and more intense. I really got bored quickly, but I kept watching the vid expecting great things coming next, but they never came. One good point for you: editing is clean and there is a good use of filters, as well as a good sync with music.

Maybe thats why you didn't like it so much bacchus.. you aren't a ctf player. It wasn't intended to be a action packed frag video. It was a tribute to WinterHaste2 which was a tournament for Q3CTF matches. While it does feature some frags throughout the video, it also focuses on some insane caps and teamwork needed on the various maps. So for you it may have been too long, but for me I thought it was fine.. I sat back and enjoyed watching the content and editing of a gametype that I love.

Being the CTF freak that I am....I really loved this movie. It's by far one of my favourites next to Annhilation. I never get tired of watching it. Some of the runs were just insane and I even learned a few tricks. :) The choice of music and synching is pretty good imo. Awesome job.
