Summary: I don't usually watch Trick jumping movies, but wow this was worth the download...
Creativity: 8 I love the intro. Creative way of presenting the players and taking them out.
The title as well fit perfectly with the music and was presented originally.
The transitions were also originaly thought off and it shows the clips were hand picked for a specific part.
The main gameplay part was standard
Editing: 9 Intro is just beastly. The way the names are presented, the title. I love when vids put definitions. I dont know why but it adds a dimension of importance and tells the audience what it's all about. Speed, Timing, Creativity and Teamwork. The rocket going through many maps was just great to see
Credits were cool also but nothing out of the ordinary
The transitions from one clip to the next were so well done that you hardly noticed them at some parts.
Cams were very cool and showed great perspectives
Content: 10 I'm no trick jumping pro or wtv but WTFBBQ these people roxorz!!!!
Quality: 9 I personally dont care much about quality as long as its not Super nintendo quality but for those who care, yes its very good :p
17:05 min for 309 Mb
Crisp imagery.
Overall: 9 Overall This video is worth downloading and keeping.
If you don't enjoy trick jumping like me, that will still not stop you from loving this vid. It manages to keep you interested throughout its length. Amazingly well excecuted by some of the best from Shaolin.
Kudos.

Summary: Incredible.
Creativity: 10 I am not a tricker. I am not interested in tricking. That said, this movie was amazing. The camera angles, the music, the tricks, everything came together perfectly and this will be the only tricking movie other than Deception that I'm sure I will watch numerous times.
Editing: 10 Awe-inspiring camera angles. Some great syncing. Great mixing of the music. The editor captured my attention and held it the entire 17 minutes, a feat considering I have never even tried tricking and find most tricking movies boring.
Content: 10 There is some mind-blowing stuff here. I have no idea how these guys come up with such complex tricks and I dont care, it is truly entertaining!
Quality: 10 I downloaded the highest quality version and it was impeccable.
Overall: 10 I can't say enough about this movie. It is definitely in my Top 3 favorite game movies of all time, if not #1.

Summary: Another shaolin movie, by another I mean just that. You already know what to expect and unfortunately they haven't really gone above and beyond that for a while. Good movie all the same though!
Creativity: 7 Creativity for the footage was something that the SP team should take note of, theyve used the similar and expanded on it, theyve taken plasma climbing/rockets and what not and thrown it all into one spectacular bag. Obviously its presented lushly but its that same lushness we are already used to. On the editing side no boundaries were pushed, aside from the camming but to be fair, quakers have been spoiled with their ability to recam for a while, it would be interesting to see this in the hands of one of the better Cs editors who have been making do with cursor keys to look!
Editing: 7 Editing? Besides the intro and clean transitions it was nice clean color adjustment which suits the music (as shown in iT2). The music was fitting and the credits were great. I guess long credits is a mixed bag but I thought it worked, the subtle wave effect, touch of noise and overall look did a good job of giving a good dreamy wind down to a clean avi. Im not that much of a fan of psytrance and i find it all a bit samey, i think the contrast between the main music and outro could of worked out better if you found music that was even more upbeat and a touch faster over all. But thats just me, i listen to hardcore at 4am, go figure.
Lastly, before i forget entirely, the cams were nice. I never had a problem viewing defrag recams prior to these anyway, they always seemed to work and show what was offer quiet well enough. However this rypel whatnot really goes above and beyond, some of the camera angles that were achieved were really nice! On a downer though it was overly erratic, swaying this way and that way WITH frame blending was just overkill, sure wave it around move it smooth but it was abused a bit too much!
(Mistakes: What happened at 5:30ish, did someone fuck up with the cookie cutter? I think they did! Oh and around 9:30, looks like you had odd rocket flares, like 16bit color ones?)
Content: 10 Amazing, I dont really want to say negative things about something that looked like it took so much fucking work and was done so well, hell its not really that much of a negative point.
Basically to a non tricker I found some of it only mildly entertaining, e.g. q3dm6 or whatever, with 3-4people rocket jumping and sorta moving around with the plasma... I can appreciate the timing of what appears to be a more techincal trick, its just not as fun to watch as 3 people all working together to get someone from a - b and then somewhere else with a sequence of rockets rails and grenades.
Fucking good job though!
Quality: 10 Hello you!
After having only 56k for my first 3 years of internetage when i finally got ADSL I never really became overly fussy about quality. Still its nice to get something that looks so fucking good at a decent size, what more could you ask for?
Overall: 8 A good watch as youd expect, entertaining material but im still waiting on something that will really blow my mind in terms of editing/setpieces, the sort of thing youd expect Badge v4 to evolve into... if you catch my drift.

Summary: Another excellent movie from the monks of the Shaolin Temple. A picture combining the skills of Fei and Cristal. An excellent insight into the development of these two as editors featuring different codec versions so that the movie is universal.
Creativity: 8 I give this a 8 because there were really nice creative moments throughout the movie but felt somewhat few and far between for what I expected - which is more than usual in this case. :D The player names moving up the green wall was an excellent touch, but in general, the effects weren't anything I haven't seen before in Shaolin movies. The music - the first track was my favourite - was excellent througout, and although the outro song was really nice I felt it became rather stale after a while which hindered the quality of everything else in the outro - which was top notch.
Editing: 9 As mentioned above the video effects weren't extraordinary but the text effects were really great throughout, which is excellent to see as I think Fei was getting a bit annoyed with text during editing but it turned out great.
The syncing of the primary music track to the video was pretty much flawless and the video and the audio both flowed excellently from start to finish.
The cameras were exhilirating although in a few cases the content was affected by the trickers being outside of the screen or just the cameras being so fast paced that it was hard to process what was actually happening. I think more in-eye footage could have been used.
Content: 10 It's quite clear to me that Rate is probably the most creative tricker out there. His choreography of the tricks he appeared in and his determination to master them causes you to respect the content, whether you enjoy watching trick movies or not. Every frag from every trick was very impressive and cristal and fei - usually - captured it excellently.
Quality: 10 The least surprising aspect of the movie, of course. It was always going to be flawless quality, but a great job done by fei to get the quality he did on the High Definition encode - haven't watched the XviD version, though. The motion blur is excellent and, although I have seen more "eye-candy" in other movies I definitely think this still deserves a 10.
Overall: 9 A must download movie for anyone involved in......anything. I loved the music - but I kind of expected more from the second track. The syncing and compression is second to none.

Summary: Unity is a masterpiece. It is worth the download, you will probably enjoy it. Witness high end level teamtricking with very difficult tricks, good background music and video quality like ingame.
Creativity: 8 The music has been mixed by the creators themselves and it's really well done. I liked the music, I loved the outro song. If you don't like the music, switch to the second audio track and see if that is more enjoyable for you. The whole soundtrack fits the movie anyway and creates the right atmosphere. The tricks in the movie have creativity, but points for the tricks already go into the content rating. Not too many creative effects. The intro is done quite cool and the outro has a stylish deforming effect on it that is only slightly noticable, I like that a lot :)
Editing: 8 It is simple editing, no effects are disturbing, nothing new though either. The movie shall make you watch the content anyway, you don't need extraordinary editing! The intro and outro, wow, they are good. There are some cool transitions between scenes. I wonder where first person has gone but probably the third person cameras show the content in a better way. Sometimes they did not make a trick clear. If you are no quake 3 player, you don't understand everything. Forgivable. Most events are synchronized to the music, that is enjoyable to watch in any movie and well done here. The motion or speed of the movie changes when the music does - it fits and puts you closer to the movie. 8 Points.
Content: 10 Rate and his crew of freestyle teamtrickers did it - they landed every trick, the most impressive ones, the hardest ones. In the time the tricks had to be done some doubted rate's ideas could be realized by humans, so he told me. Well, they made it, with a lot of work, imagination and sweat. I give 10 points for the content because I think this is high end quake 3 freestyle. The future will bring more kinds of tricks, but not better ones, just more variety.
Quality: 9 I downloaded the high definition x264 version first, that's probably the highest quality version of all the mirrors up. It is the first quake 3 movie that I see with a high definition mirror available at all, that's the next level of high quality in movies. It's a big plus that there are so many versions of it online! Not many movies offer that, it's great to have a choice - people with rather old computers get the chance to watch it too. The video quality on the versions I have watched was amazing, ingame quality with a good mb/min relation. The ingame config and sound quality are perfect, motion blur is good. It is a pity that there is no ingame sound. Some movies I saw were more of an eyecandy than Unity is so I give "only" 9 points.
Overall: 9 In the future, don't let any movie get as hyped as this one again! Hyping movies is pressure for the moviemakers and expectations of watchers grow too big.
Unity got the award for "Best Trickjumping Video" on the day of its release. There are only 4 movies which got that award, that speaks for itself. You can have entertainment in high definition by downloading this. If you don't like the editing, you still like the content. If you don't like the music, go to the menu and switch to the second audio track.
Enjoy it, aye? :)
