frankly i was a little dissapointed.. while the charonrun and the last csu trick were pretty good, a vast majority of the tricks werent very hard at all. the editing left a lot to be desired.. while some of the df cams were really nice, a lot of them were sloppy. the intro and outro were pretty pointless looking, and that whole lg writing on the wall thing instantly kills the vid for me. the music really wasnt my taste either, but thats a matter of opinion. i wasnt really a fan of the 3d stuff, but it wasnt done too bad. on compression, 60mb for 9 minutes is really good, but its ok to make it a little bigger so the quality isnt so sketchy. broadband = ok for big files ;] oh and that skin was really ugly :X

i mean ok there are better trickjumping movies but noone has been done by u or???
filesize is more than ok but lets talk about the content.
never saw an intro like this. its very creativ imo
whole editing is v nice (graphic isnt that good but ideas are great)
the jumps are all new. the 17++ run on 7:00 is hard imo
so mrpinkk i wait for ur movie... or are u afraid of showing ur demos? f1st wasnt thats what him makes better than other ppl who can only critizice the work of others.. |

I agree with mrpinkk. Some df recams really sucked. And when you are 10s long recaming through a map just to show one 2s trick, it really breaks the flow. I think the compression quality adds to my disappointment: for a 9min vid, nobody will cry if it weights a litle more than 100 megs (it is still a very good ratio), and quality would be much better. The only point on which I quite disagree with mrpinkk is the difficulty of the tricks: most of them are quite hard to perform, but I expected more from you Black-Jack, and I already knew some of them (not many but there are some).
Alcohol is the answer, but I can't remember the question!

No one is uploading videos for mr pinkk...my guess is that people upload simply to share the work they've done. Don't use words like "suck, ugly, shitty, crap" those are subjective words. Rather, state why u think something apparently "sucks" but don't use those words, becuase they aren't polite and I'm sure Sean wants people to be polite. |

Its not just about being polite, its about commenting and making suggestions in an intelligent way. Obviously all comments are welcome and everyone has their own views on a video. Personally I try to be pretty indepth with my comments so that others know different aspects of the video, good/bad, based on the rating of quality, editing and content.
Obviously the author of a given video doesn't want to see comments like "it was shitty, this sucked, this blew" etc anymore then myself or any of the admins want to. Again, everyone has their own views. You can leave comments both positive and negative without bashing the video.
I dont think mrpinkk's comments were terrible but they could have been a little better layed out. But thats his personal feelings about it. I like to give more information on ups/downs of a video to give the next person an idea.
** btw, I haven't watched this video yet, but when I do I'll make some time to get back here and comment on the video itself :)

i think i handle my opinions pretty nicely.. i am in no way what so ever another ase. as my comments arent crude in the least, as an editor, ppl rail my videos all the time, i could give a shit.. its only going to make me a better editor.

also, critic, did you even READ my response to the video? not once did i use a demeaning word like sucks, and the only thing i said was ugly was the skin.. cuz its a big eyeball on a monsters body.. what does it matter to you if im on this site or not? and you dont upload videos from people you download them.
