I wrote a long review but my net died, so ...
Way too many effects in every clip. Made it pretty unwatchable, I loved maybe 2 sec in the fragpart, there were no effects there!
It's not that I dont like the effects, it's that they're there every, every second.
Frags was meh, vs skilled ppl made it okay!
Music wasn't exactly my taste
Quality was superB.
7/10, thought it would be a lil better

The movie was worth the download, but there were simply too many effects in the frag parts.
9 out of 10 frag movie makers make this same mistake. If the
frags are good (as in this case), we'd like to be able to CLEARLY SEE
THEM, meaning there shouldn't be blur, zoom, shaking, and flash effects
before and between every single one. This bothers peoples' eyes,
making the movie displeasing to watch. Good movies have MINIMAL
special effects in the frag parts; they save the effects overload for
the intro, outro, or in between frag compilation transitions.
We watch these movies primarily for the frags, not to see how well you
can fiddle with the several hundred dollar video editor you
bought. True, a good movie needs good effects, but they should
come second to the frags. If you ABSOLUTELY NEED to implement
excessive effects, please do not use those that inhibit one's ability
to comprehend what is appearing before them. This is the same
reason 90% of people hate Dchozn's movies, despite his confusing
popularity.
All movie makers should do themselves a favor and take the time to
disect what actually makes the greatest of Counter-Strike movies the
best; they are so highly renowned by the masses for a reason. You
will see that they are light on the effects (but creative with
them--meaning more than just bluring or shaking the screen now and
then), and mainly focus on good frags, good music, and synchronization.
This movie was good, but it could have been much better had the effects not been so excessive.

pathetic movie from chillside.. reused frags from Wings the Journey to Korea(which was WAY better, but then again, so were the old chillside moviemakers) boring music, too short, too many effects, way way way TOO short. like 4 minutes of frags only? just wait and make a better movie... these new chillside movie makers are poor!

(yes, this movie were just a bunch of effects, trying to hide the content :s, and the credits effects were clearly taken from the iPod commercial effect tutorial. Sadly this is just chillside over again, flashy effects without any purpose :s)

You managed to give me a headache thats about it. Effects were way over done, I couldn't even tell how good the quality was just because of all the blur and shit. Intro was bad and repititive too.
Take it easy on the effects next time it just ruined frags in this movie, i think i saw a total of maybe 2 frags. CS is a pretty poor game to use a lot of effects on. Most effects ruin the quality or don't work out well like they may in quake or ut movies. The game just isn't suited for a lot of editing, treat it that way.

holy crap, to watch something like this and see the recognition it gets vs any of the stuff I make wants me to either pack up or move to a different site :P
The effects were overdone.... not cheesy maybe because they are new, but they don't fit the theme

well, the movie was really nice, maybe too much effects on it :/
frags were pretty nice against well known opponents.
the song part is the best. I love these songs :)

hoorai (nowadays N69E28) is my favourite team too,
so that's one of the main reasons why I liked this movie so much :) |
