Royal Rumble 4 is a Best Of Frags Video from the Royal Rumble 4 Event in Summer 2006.
This is my tribute to all the players who partipated in the Event and had their fun :)!
This time the video contains a lot more then in Royal Rumble 3. First of all thanks to
all people who send me their demos and followed the demo review instructions very well.
This made the demo recording job a very easy task, and I could focus on how to present
and edit the video. The Video contains the best frag scenes of about 15+ players including some
bonus features, but I don't tell you that here ;)! You will have to watch the movie :P! There is a
lot of hk2 action again, but don't worry, this time there are plenty of frags on other maps as well.
However most of the frags are from hk2 as this was the main played map till the last 3-4 rounds.
Some background on the editing, this is the first HD Movie I ever made. However some
of the fragszenes at the beginning were captured in 1024x768, but most are in 1280x720.
Quality is still very impressing, also I used 4000 kbps for the x264 compression - this is quit
a lot for a normal movie, but needed for a good quality HD movie. So the filesize is a little bit
more then usual. You will also need a powerfull PC, if you expirience Playback problems in
VLC Player, try to install the ffdshow_rev701_20061218_xxl.exe decoder, and play the Video with
Windows Media Player, or WinAMP or whatever using Windows Video Codecs ;)
So once again BIG Thanks to infrequent for letting me use an early Beta of Refrag v2,
so I could record true and real 16:9 format :)

first of all qualli +++ like usual
music was pretty cool except the last song which was kinda retarded -.-
editing was nice as well
content: tooo much stuff of HK2 from my opinion
actually i wasnt amazed that much until goldfinger appeared on the screen
because his aiming was pretty nice. thats what i excpect of the winner
the rest of the frags were... average, of course there were some really good ones as well
i missed stuff like "20-kills-in-a-row-runs" if anyone even made it that high once
maybe i should take part in RR5 :P
overall 7/10 i guess but watch it yourself |

Very nice editing. You've created a very nice transition between player frags: an obvious break but never annoying.
20 frags in a row is nearly impossible with deathmatch when there's no backpack/medkitaround but only up to 50 enemies.
I finally was part of it and i had a good time, and i enjoyed watching the vid. However i can imagine it's a quite long vid if you weren't part of the royal rumble.
Thanks for all the work you've put into it.

Well didint watch more than 5 mins cause x264 with high resolutions like this lags so much i can see only like screen so cant say anything.

content: A neutral 5/10 , didnt really like the content cuz i hate that dm crap sry m8
i love the adl0r :) Very nice how u gave it a 3d shape , i really had to laugh as i saw all the adl0rs in the intro they simply rock :) Reminds me of my old times when i wasnt banned from sz.de ;)

I enjoyed watching intro and outro
The quality of the movie was perfect but in fact 850mo is too much for a movie
Music was not in my taste
To be honest the lack of skills was the most annoying part of this movie
I hope you will do a new movie with the same attitude of this just change your players :p
